SoundSmart® Auditory Attention Coach
This program provides specific exercises to improve Auditory reception and processing. It helps to increase the series of computations that the brain performs to identify, classify, store and act upon auditory information, including speech.
BrainTrain has developed a patented technology product to help adults and children (ages 6 and up) improve their auditory attention performance. Divided into Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced levels, the client would play games on the computer at our office. These games orally work with the client, encouraging them, praising them and challenging them to do their best and providing instructions throughout the game. SoundSmart® contains 11 behavioral training tracks, including a Speed Track, Patience Track, Listening Track, and Challenge Track. These tracks become more complex, including following multi-step instructions, as the client progresses.
